City council · classic campaign spot
A candidate introduction made from photos and a phone clip
Fictional sample candidate
A candidate introduction for a city council race. Maria sent three phone photos, one 8-second clip of herself speaking, and five short notes. I wrote the narration from those notes, used her clip for the name-and-credentials moment, and let the photos carry the promises. Twenty seconds, vertical, classic campaign-spot style. The Paid for by line goes on the last frame.

School board · pop-up book animation
A community-focused campaign ad
Fictional sample candidate
A school board candidate who had no photos handy. Priya sent me her words and I built the whole ad as a paper pop-up storybook: each page is one small thing that gets fixed. No photographs needed, no filming. Twenty-six seconds, horizontal, so it works on a website or YouTube. Her voice carries the message; an announcer closes it.

Sample script
Priya: Hi, I'm Priya Menon: school librarian, mom of two.
Priya: I'm running for school board because small things matter. Like a bus that shows up on time.
Priya: A roof that doesn't leak.
Priya: And a library that's open when kids need it.
Priya: Small things, big difference.
Announcer: Priya Menon, for School Board. Vote November third.
County commission · vertical ad for Reels and TikTok
A local-issue campaign ad
Fictional sample candidate
One issue, one joke, twenty-two seconds for Reels and TikTok. Lou Marchetti runs a hardware store, so the pothole angle is his. The birthday party for the hole stops the scroll; the montage of filling it gets the message across. Vertical, comedy, made for a phone feed where people swipe fast.

Sample script
Neighbors, singing: Happy birthday, dear pothole…
A car hits the pothole mid-song.
Lou: Seven years. That's long enough.
On screen: Fill the potholes. Fix the roads. Answer the phone.
Lou: I'm Lou Marchetti. Let's fix the basics. Vote November third.
What to send for a video like these
Photos from your phone are enough. A short clip of you speaking to camera helps. Write a few notes: who you are, what you want to say, the date. I build the rest from that.
- A few phone photos of you, anywhere, any lighting.
- One short clip of you speaking to camera, if you have one.
- A few notes: your job, your issue, the election date.
- The exact Paid for by wording your committee requires.
